String art is one of the most aesthetically pleasing projects, you can think of. Often referred to as pin-and-thread art, through creation of intricate designs, we turn a plank of wood into a work of art. For String art, we used colored string, wool or wire to create geometric patterns. The ‘string’ is normally held between nails hammered into a base board. Multiple straight lines of string can form shapes ranging from simple curves to more complex designs resembling flowers, sailing boats, etc.

String art designs are not only fun projects but they are even better gifts.
